For those who watch/listen to the music on this channel and are fans of the Colvins, it’s with great sadness that I announce that Sis. Annette Colvin passed away yesterday morning, August 19th, at the age of 81. The playlist descriptions of those albums have been updated accordingly.

I apologize for the sub-par quality of some songs from today’s album, The Bill Gaither Trio - The Very Best Of The Very Best (1978). I made the mistake of saving the audio as MP3 instead of WAV. I have already digitized tomorrow’s album, The Hemphills - Workin’ (1980) and saved the audio as WAV, and I’m currently digitizing Tuesday’s album as well, Sandi Patti - Hymns Just For You (1985) and will save that audio as WAV as well.

Due to a copyright takedown, Jimmy Swaggart's and Jerry Lee Lewis's rendition of The Old Rugged Cross is no longer available on this channel. -JoshiBOI

Starting today, I'm uploading my collection in 1080p again instead of 4K. Until I get a good fast internet connection, I cannot stand the long wait to upload in 4K. That being said, here's a poll. Do you prefer higher quality on the scans, or lower?

If you wonder why the titles of some songs on this channel look weird in spelling, it is not because of my lack of skills in spelling (trust me, I know how to properly spell what I know, which is a lot), but rather, it is because that is how it is printed on the backs of the records from which those songs are. A perfect example of this is "Kum By Ya" from tonight's album. I guess the people involved in the making of that album back in 1958 didn't know how to spell "Kumbaya". watch video on watch page
