Hey beautiful people :)
Time for a quick update.
I wanted to let you in on how I'm tracking with my first online course.
The recording and editing is done.
I just finished creating my bonus materials.
And now working with my website designer to put it altogether.
This is gonna take a while because I can be picky and I want the best user experience for you all.
But I'm so excited for this course to come out.
You will learn to listen to the singing voice in more detailed and nuanced ways.
It's gonna be EPIC!
Hope you are all well.
Can't believe it's nearly the end of the year already.
Tell me one thing that you're proud of, that you've learnt, done, achieved, overcome, let go of and how does it feel?!

Hi everyone,
I've been very quiet on here but showing up in real life. And a lot has happened and is happening.
So just jumping on here to give you a quick update on everything.
The Online Course:
- I am still ebbing along.
- I didn't realise how much time, effort and energy it takes to create one.
- I had many moments of wanting to giving up, but choosing to stay in the hard every single day.
- In Phase 6 currently (out of 8 phases): slowly editing all the case studies, my recordings, and the canva presentation and making it cohesive as I can.
- I was tempted to outsource video editors to speed things up, but I know my energy will get lost in the creation.
- My aim is to have everything ready by Christmas but let's see how it all goes :)
YouTube Channel:
- I promise I will start making reaction videos again once the course is available.
- I'm in my course creation season and I wanted to funnel my energy into creating a comprehensive learning experience for you all.
- Keep putting in your requests, I do check them and add them to the list hehehe.
Life update:
- I started exercising.
- Honestly had a toxic relationship with gym culture and I didn't love the body I was in.
- But recently discovered Gyrotonic and the more I learn about it, the more at home I feel in my own body.
- The focus isn't about what you look like, it's about learning to appreciate what your body can do and how it can move for you.
Lessons:
- My 89 year old neighbour from Greece passed away recently.
- It was hard to sit in that grief, but I didn't want to numb those feelings and thoughts.
- Having your support people really helps: they hold you up with gentleness and loving energy. They create a safe space for all of your feelings to pour out.
- Her passing made me think about the nature of death and how I want to live out my own life.
- We all have this one life, so choose things that light you up and let go of the things that are not in alignment.
- Scary AF but you feel satiated.
I hope you are all taking care of yourselves, wherever you are in the world.
See you soon

Some of you have noticed that I've been missing for nearly 2 months.
I just wanted to reassure you that I'm still here.
Last year was intense for me: posting long form once a week, 5-7 YouTube Shorts a week, balancing a part time job whilst doing life, trying to be present with family and friends and trying to take care of my health and mental well being.
It's a lot right?
Some days I was pushing my body so hard that I burnt out.
I constantly have to remind myself to take breaks and rest.
It has definitely took its toll on my body and I've decided to hit the pause button.
I've decided to slow down and take care of me for a while.
But I am in the process of creating something special for those who have reached out, wanting to learn with me.
I'm currently finishing up the final drafts of my presentations for my online self-paced course. (see photo below: I love my colour coding haha!)
I'm so excited for this because there's no online course like this offered in the singing space before.
I feel so honoured and excited to share this work to those of you who are:
- Music enthusiasts/hobbyists
- Music reactors
- Vocal coaches
- Choral directors
- Voice teachers
- Karaoke singers
- Tik Tok/Insta/YouTube singers
- Vocalists for tribute bands
- Solo artists.
It’s been over two years since I first had this thought of making it, and it’s been a beautiful journey to witness an idea growing and becoming its own entity.
At this stage, I will post vocal reactions/breakdowns when I can, but I really want to funnel and deeply invest my energy into this creative project in the coming year.
Will keep you posted.
But for now, I hope you are all well and taking good care of yourselves and your family.
And I will do the same.
See you soon :)

Hey everyoneeeee,
Some of you have messaged me to ask what happened to this particular video.
It's been blocked :(
But I will do my best to dispute it so let's see what happens.
Thank you for your patience though.
And I'm working on the next video now so hopefully it'll be up early next week :)
Have the best week everyone.

Hello beautiful people,
I wanted to jump on here quickly to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas.
Christmas can be a special time for some, but triggering and hard for others.
Please surround yourself and enjoy your time with your family and/or chosen family and friends.
But also, it can be a bit full on during this festive season so a gentle reminder to carve out some me-time to actively rest and recharge.
It's all about balance right?
And for those who don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you're taking care of yourself and moving through life with more intention and ease as the year comes to an end.
When you can, give yourself a moment to reflect on all the amazing things that happened for you in 2023.
All the experiences you got to share with your special humans in your life, and all the incredible wins and achievements that you worked hard for (no matter how big or small).
My little wins:
- Learning to sit with my shitty thoughts when I land in my ebb and not believing them, even though they can be loud at times. ( I was having meltdowns and burning out a lot throughout the year)
- New belief: everything is figure-out-able. (I would feel frustrated when I couldn't make certain things work: technology, etc)
- Taking ownership of my learning and growth. (When I hit roadblocks, I'm outsourcing and finding mentors who can help me.)
- Realising that I need money for the mission. (I got a part time, ongoing teaching job at a a new English Language School, specialising in art and soon to be music (my two favourite loves in the world).
Things to look forward to in 2024:
- Creating a website for Scott Le Vocal Coach.
- Self-paced online courses (for those who have reached out to me wanting to study with me, this one is for you)
- Creating a learning program for music and performing arts for the ESL/EAL children. Cannot wait!
- Spending more time with family and friends. (The older I'm getting, I'm appreciating the time that I have left with my loved ones. So I want to make the most of it)
- Actively resting and recharging my energy throughout my day/week (without feeling any guilt). Our society is sending us the wrong message: that hustling, pushing, overworking and grinding is glorified, but that doesn't work for me... anymore. I now choose to prioritise my mental health, retreat and nurture my energy so that I can be the best version of Me, for the people in my orbit. Tired Scott is no fun. Calm and happy Scott is! haha!
So before I sign off, I just wanted to say that I am so so so grateful to have you here in this growing little community.
Thank you for your love for music and singing.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings and stories.
Thank you for being so open to incredibly talented singers from every part of the world and embracing and falling in love with their language and culture.
And thank you for your unconditional support and love.
I love you all.
Take care.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well and happy.
It's been nearly a month since my last video upload!
Some people have checked in on me and wondering if I was still alive haha!
I'm okay.
I've honestly been burnt out and energetically depleted and needed some time to rest and show up in my real life: for my family, my friends and for me.
Creating content is fun, but it can be really exhausting.
I'll try and be more consistent from today.
I want to be here and share my craft with everyone, but I need to do it my way. By following and honouring my own rhythm and nobody else's.
FYI, I'm working on an exciting project for you, but I will announce it soon!
New video comes out tonight at 12am (AEDT)
Thank you for your patience :)

Hey everyone,
Just putting this out there.
I'll be travelling to Bali for 2 weeks in January 2024.
I was thinking of stopping over in Jakarta for a few days to hold a free open vocal coaching session.
If there are any singers out there who would love to show up and sing and learn altogether and if there is enough interest, I will do my best to organise a venue with a piano and arrange for an accompanist for the day.
All singers at any level are welcome.
I will cap this open coaching session to 8 singers only.
I really believe in focusing all my energy and diving deep with a small group.
The intention for these sessions is to give you and your voice the solutions/strategies/real time feedback that it’s asking for.
Remember, it’s not a performance but a learning experience for us all.
What will happen in this masterclass?
• Every student will have 15 minutes with me on stage.
• You will sing your song (in English) in front of other learners.
• We will identify which part of the song you need help with and what your vocal issues are.
• I will guide and coach you by giving you prompts and strategies that will help you meet your vocal needs.
Don't worry, it'll be a safe space where everyone will learn from one another.
What do you need to bring?
• Please bring your sheet music (2x copies: 1 printed for the accompanist and one for yourself)
• A water bottle
• A laptop/notebook to write down ideas/strategies that you might be able to apply in your own singing
• Video Recordings are welcome and encouraged (this is a great strategy to support your learning)
• An open mind and a playful attitude :)
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or if you would like to reserve your spot: sassbyscott@gmail.com
In the email, please mention:
1. Your full name
2. Your song of choice: Title and artist
3. Your vocal issues: for eg. hitting high notes without straining, English pronunciation, singing high and soft, singing in pitch.
If you are unsure, that's okay, I can listen to your vocal performance on the day and give you some feedback and actionable steps.
I want to gently remind you that this completely free.
I genuinely just want to connect and share with you what I’ve learnt over the years and hopefully can guide you in the right direction.
I feel so excited and I can’t wait to meet you all.

Hi everyone :)
Just letting you all know that my recovery is going well. The virus/flu/cold hit hard!
But I just recorded the next video (long form) and some YouTube shorts.
Will edit them over the next few days.
Thank you for waiting so patiently.
I hope you're all doing well wherever you are in the world.
See you all very soon ok?

Hello everybody
It's that time of the year here in Australia. *shivers*
I'm down with a sore throat, runny nose and achy body *sigh*
But in the meantime, I'll upload some YouTube shorts and drop them throughout the week when I can.
And I should be back mid next week.
Hope everyone's having a great start to the week.
Stay safe ok?

Hi everyone.
Oh no… it happened again. Hopefully it’ll be released soon for you all.
I made some small changes in this video in terms of font(size) and sound effects. See if you notice them 🙈
I’m still exploring and finding my style and so I really appreciate any feedback you have. ❤️
See you all next week.
Stay safe and take care for now.

Helloooo I'm Scott.
I'm a vocal coach & an EAL teacher and my hope is to bring more clarity and understanding into how our voices work.
So whether you're a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced singer, or just someone who is looking to understand voice, I'm here to create a safe, an inclusive & an empowering space where I'll be breaking down and sharing my voice reactions of incredibly talented singers from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds.
I believe that we can all learn from these professional singers because they have dedicated most of their life to their artistry and have demonstrated mastery over their instrument.
So grab your cup of water or tea or green juice, stay a while, and join me on this journey -- a journey of life long learning, creativity, and above all, grace.
Love you and see you in the next video.
Scott
