Dr. Hira Mujahid is an Assistant Professor at the College of economic and social development (CESD), IoBM. She has been teaching since 2010. Mainly she teaches Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, Micro and Macroeconomics, General Equilibrium, Pakistan's Economy, and Seminar in Economic Policy.
She has completed her Ph.D. in 2019 and the title of her dissertation is “The Impact of Quality of Institutions on Macroeconomic Volatility in Open Economies”. She is also supervising M.Phil. thesis and looking to supervise more on Governance and macroeconomic issues.
Her articles are published in many national and international journals, some others are in pipeline. In addition, she writes in newspapers on current issues. In fact, she has participated and present papers at several international conferences. Other than that she had been associated with multiple organizations Like NCMPR, KASBIT, Manzil Pakistan, and Maritime Training Institute.
