Visit my YouTube channel to hear my heroes ⭐On the day Clifton Chenier died in December 1987, I went down to Antone's Records in Austin and I bought this old Checker 45rpm. I bought another one of Clifton's singles and I couldn't believe that my Zydeco hero was gone. It was on the front page of the Austin American Statesman that day. My Dad, who died in December 2023 taught me well about the music!

⭐This song was written by Danny O' Keefe and he recorded it in 1967 and it barely made it in the top 10, but it was a good version. Other artists recorded it and did okay with it, but it was In 1980, on the Elektra Records album, "When Two Worlds Collide" that I ran across it again and I loved that version by Jerry Lee Lewis... finally! what I feel is a solid version... THEN .. The Wembley 1985 show came along and I hear another version that was filled with so much emotion it will bring tears to your eyes....So enjoy Jerry Lee Lewis doing a version that we used to call "THE BOMB" decades ago now!

It was my Dad who instilled a love and respect for music in my Brother and I from a young age. Dad played his old records and so many of them are stuck in my mind to this day and so almost 10 years ago, I began my YouTube channel. Originally, it was going to be just Jerry Lee Lewis music, but over the years I've discovered other songs by other artists I wanted to share. Please listen to my stuff and comment and invite others. Thank You!
