Hello, my friends! For those of you that come to our community live chats on Sundays, there will be no live chat for the next TWO Sundays. If you watched Behind the Controversy: The Rise and Fall of Too Faced and wondered what happened to Jerrod Blandino’s sister Lisa, we now have a clue thanks to the community. After her disgusting attack on NikkieTutorials for coming out as trans, Jerrod publicly distanced himself, saying:
“Let it be known that I am truly shocked and disgusted to my core at her recent actions. I do not tolerate this behavior and she is no longer an employee at Too Faced.”
It has been a few years, but judging by what appears to be her new Instagram account, Lisa is still holding on to the same brand of hateful ignorance. Her BIO mocking trans youth, thinly veiled as a “joke” about tomboy phases and puberty blockers, is not only misinformed, it’s ignorant and cruel. It also, to me, shows that being anti-trans is a huge part of her current personality. Imagine being so hateful that THIS is your BIO on Instagram!
I also wanted to take this moment to put to rest a rumor: Lisa was not the person who blackmailed Nikkie into coming out. Nikkie made it clear in her coming out video that the blackmailer was identified by police, wasn’t someone she knew personally, and wasn’t someone the audience would recognize. That rules Lisa out. The idea that she was responsible likely came from careless speculation from drama channels at the time.
Still, while she may not have blackmailed Nikkie, Lisa’s behavior continues to speak for itself, and...gross...
