No video this week. Sorting through feelings and catching up on work.
Here are some thoughts.
The other night I was driving home and I realized mid thought that I was thinking about when my hair is long again as if life ceases to exist for me until that happens.
It occurred to me that I’m still stuck in the thought pattern of when I have this I’ll be _________.
I don’t want to live like that. My life is happening right now, in this very moment. To short hair me.
Trauma is so interesting to me. I didn’t ask for any of this to happen and yet here I am having to figure out my new normal, meeting new parts of myself over and over.
A lot is the same on the outside but my inner world feels very different. I got a referral for a new therapist and I’m looking forward to speaking with her. To sorting out all these complex feelings and emotions. To work through the fear of the
what ifs moving forward.
Cancer is a bitch. It steals so much from you so quickly. And then you are left sorting through a lot of messy emotions.
And so it is.
