Shannon Marie Quirk (@ShannonReporting) is a television host and journalist, announcing for live broadcasts such as the Mavericks Invitational big-wave event, Nazaré Tow Surf Sessions, Puerto Escondido Challenge, International Surfing Association competitions, Warner Brothers' Supergirl Pro, Azores Airlines Pro, Galicia Pantin Pro, and the first women's Big Wave World Tour heat in Nelscott Reef, Oregon. Currently, she freelances for various sports productions.
Shannon worked as a World Surf League's Big Wave Tour event coordinator, on 72-hour-notice for XXL size swell around the globe. Between storm chasing, Shannon writes / films / photographs for digital publications, and manages and consults for social media clients. She is currently freelance producing.
