Sean Diddy Combs has returned his ceremonial key to New York City that he was awarded last year by Mayor Eric Adams.
This comes after the Mayor sent the embattled rapper a letter on June 4, requesting the honor back, following backlash over footage of the disgraced rapper assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Adams wrote that he stands with survivors of domestic abuse and then noted that the Key to the City is awarded to model citizens and that Combs no longer met the criteria for selection.
TMZ reported that Diddy's team returned the Key using the instructions provided by the Mayor's office. The City of New York keeps a list of all recipients of the Key to the City and Combs will remain in the log, however his entry has already been amended.

Singer Niykee Heaton Accuses Diddy and Ye of Assault
On June 8, Niykee Heaton conducted an Instagram Live session that has since been circulating online where she makes allegations against Ye and Diddy. Heaton started off the video by saying that following the breakout success of her song "Bad Intentions" with Migos and OG Parker back in 2014, Ye reached out to her and invited her to a studio session to work on music.
She claims she arrived at the studio and that Diddy and Ye were there together. The singer said they appeared "off their s**t" on alcohol and potentially drugs, and claimed they pressured her to have a drink but she didn't take it. While nine other women were also present in the studio, they allegedly ended up leaving to go to the bathroom and Heaton didn't see them again. Heaton then said she was alone with Ye, Puff, "an executive" who works with Ye, Ye's engineer and Ye's own cousin.
Ye and Puff then allegedly began pressuring Heaton to take her clothes off because of how "hot" it was in the studio.
"They were like, 'c'mon! It's just us, we're all just friends let's just see how you look,'" Heaton recalled at the 18-minute mark below. "I still haven't gotten scared yet. I'm like, this is a bad situation, I'm creeped out, but there's no reason to panic. There are other men here."

In legal documents pertaining to their divorce, Iman Shumpert has claimed that Teyana Taylor is bringing home almost double his monthly income.
As reported by TMZ, the former NBA star has asserted that he shouldn't have to pay as much child support as he's currently paying because she's making almost twice what he is in a month. In the documents, he claimed that he brings home approximately $47,981 each month before taxes, while she's netting $98,885 each month.
He said he's currently paying $8,000 a month in child support, and while he's happy to do that he said he wants to split the cost of health services for their kids outside of "major" medical expenses.
This directly contradicts claims Taylor made in the divorce filing last year, in which she said that he was jealous of her fame and asked her not to work only to complain that she wasn't bringing in enough money for their family. Shumpert made a substantial amount of money during his NBA career, with a total of $48 million in contracts with various teams. However, he hasn't played professionally since the 2021 season.

Drake has another lawsuit on his hands.
According to legal documents obtained by Billboard, the Toronto-born rapper is being sued over merch designs emblazoned with the âMembers Onlyâ slogan. The plaintiff is listed as JR Apparel World LLC, a New York-based clothing company that owns the iconic outerwear specialist Members Only.
While JR Apparel doesnât accuse Drake of selling Members Only knockoffs, it points out that his company, Away From Home Touring Inc., has been selling Members Only-branded tees that violate its trademark rights.
âAway From Homeâs use of âMembers OnlyââŚis likely to cause confusion, mistake, and deception among consumers as to the origin of Away From Homeâs infringing T-shirts,â the complaint reads in part. âAway From Home soldâŚgoods bearing the mark âMembers Onlyâ that are identical, overlapping, and/or highly similar to the goods that JR Apparel sells bearing its MEMBERS ONLY Marks.â
