Be very careful which booking agent you use to book hotels …our advice to ourselves and you … stick to the popular ones even if it costs a few pounds more.. luckily we’ve got a better deal with a very popular booking agent and it’s streamlined our plans…

29 DAYS TO GO …till we head off into the sun for the winter… In these last few weeks we are helping prepare the campsite ready to close down for the season. And then that’s it .. HERE WE GO AGAIN…This year we are staying in

Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote in December
Costa Adeje Tenerife in Jan/Feb

Then we return back to Gower Wales ready to start all over again

We still have to pinch ourselves that we have been lucky enough to grab an opportunity to live life to the max.. we’d still be living in Bristol with a mortgage, existing on a 9 to 5, 12 months a year with a tedious commute, this swanning around on holiday for most of winter would just be a dream and certainly completely unaffordable… our holiday this winter is now extended for 20 weeks so if you wanna know how we do it don’t forget to come along on YouTube as we share budgets, all our costs, how we save and tips n tricks … starts early October until we return back to work in March 25… and the cycle starts again .. work save travel repeat 😀

By thinking a little differently that one decision can change everything and it certainly did .. next season will be our 8th season as Campsite Wardens.. working the summer in the UK and sharing our winter adventures abroad with you on our 6 months off… it’s all done through budget, planning and saving as much as we can…and all it started on a campsite in Devon.. so our next vlog is our story so far when, how and why did we change to this semi retired life and become campsite wardens and how do we do it financially by just working 6 months … next vlog coming soon

We’re packed and ready to go … 5 months on holiday and this is all we’re taking in hand luggage saving pounds enough for another flight! ✈️ and we used to take 2 x 23 kg suitcases trolley bags and 2 hand luggage!! It’s took a lot of planning but so worth it… enjoy bank holiday we’re very busy here at Kennexstone campsite so we will see you after the school holidays for a final vlog before we head out to the sun till March 😀

A DAY OFF? … what the WHOLE day? It’s vlog time again come see us as the sun goes down later tonight… and as requested by many of you showing you more of Kennexstone campsite & what we get up too but also we take you home with us and peel ourselves of our garden sunloungers.. We walk over to the beautiful lake opposite our cottage and chat about well … that’s just it who knows… joining Mark on todays vlog will be Stella who came in a lot cheaper than his friend San Miguel 😂

Just a tad over 10 weeks and we will be packing away our work uniform till next spring and taking you with us on another crazy winter sun adventure… we can’t promise you scripted or planned perfectly edited filming 😜 but we can promise you real said as it is, unscripted choas and fun … another 3 vlogs to follow till you get us almost every day… I hope your ready! We’ve missed you 😀 …don’t forget we’re calling at Calis beach & Kemer Turkey in October, Protaras Cyprus through November, Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote for December, Tenerife Costa Adeje in Jan for Marks birthday bash, returning to our favourite place Lanzarote to end our winter adventures in Feb/ March … we may see you there? xx

💔 It’s been a really tough week this week and thank you to all of you for your kind words and wishes during this sad time…

Thanks for staying with us over our working season at the campsite.. we will put at least 1 vlog out a month until we hit October then we will be vlogging away till March… Junes vlog will be a budget one as we’ve now added 3 weeks in Turkey to our adventures so we will detail the costs as always.. so the savings goal increases 😃 less chocolate and beer till then 🙃 see you again soon …Work 6 months off 6 months what a great idea that was we had and still loving it x

Live to work or work to live? No more work 12 months a year with 4 weeks annual holiday. No more commute. No more mortgage.
We've been sharing it all on our channel for others to think could we do this?
We gave up corporate life and bought a sweet little cottage in Wales and work as campsite wardens for 6 months through summer at Kennexstone campsite Gower.
Then 6 months off to do whatever we choose.
Change doesn't happen by chance it happens by choice... Would we return to an average working life?.... Never x
