Compost Update!!
Just in as little as 48hours after turning the compost has heated up to 150F (65C). This is a great sign that the microbes and bacteria are working very well.
We will record the temperatures as we go along. Monitoring the duration the compost stays hot and then cools down is key to estimating when your compost will begin curing and be ready to use.

Turning your compost can really heat it up!
After turning the compost pile and just 24 hours later, the compost bin has heated up to 120F (49c) - from 90F (32c). It is working again to produce great soil for the garden. What do you think?
