Young Volunteers for the Environment (YVE)-The Gambia is a pan African registered youth led environmental ,non-profit organization that predominantly advocates for environmental sustainability in the scope of access to basic energy, water, health and sanitation services; waste management; cultural biodiversity; climate change; natural resource management and sustainable development. Our positions and programmes are designed fully from a bottom up approach. Of course, we are deeply rooted within communities. The organization has 2 country regional offices and 15 environmental school clubs aimed at using communities as keen partners, learning field but also research-action platform. We serve and support schools and local communities to fulfil their full potential and take it as a responsibility to be accountable to them.
