You might meet a truck driver in the morning, an 80-year-old widow in the afternoon, and a bank president in the evening. This requires special skills and understanding diverse needs. "I need to think about it," "I don’t want a sales pitch," and "I only have ten minutes" are all part of the job. It pays well because it’s hard, and I will try to make it easier for you.
