Founded in 1905, the FAI - The World Air Sports Federation - is an international, IOC-recognised sports federation furthering aeronautical and astronautical activities.
Represented in more than 100 countries worldwide, the FAI coordinates international competitions and ratifies world records in the following air sports: Gliding, Ballooning, Parachuting, General Aviation, Aeromodelling, Aerobatics, Hang Gliding, Paragliding, Helicopters and Microlights.
