Do you remember how excited we were as kids when August 15th was around the corner? The joy of seeing our national flag waving high, the pride we felt during the national anthem, and the thrill of participating in school programs. And of course, the sweets! Those little treats were the highlight of the day.
We spent days preparingāironing our uniforms, polishing our shoes, and getting everything ready for the big day. Back then, our hearts were full of patriotism and excitement.
As we celebrate today, letās remember that the freedom we enjoy was earned by the sacrifices of our freedom fighters in 1947, and itās protected every day by our security forces. We owe them our thanks.
Being patriotic isnāt just about celebrating one day. Itās about being good citizensāfollowing the rules, helping others, and staying away from unethical activities. Thatās how we can truly honor our country and those who protect it.
Letās celebrate this day with pride and do our part to make India better. Jai Hind! š®š³
