I haven't posted anything to YouTube, or really logged in over the past few years. I was only a micro channel but YPP still pays me for those people who watch my videos which I very much appreciate! They now want to remove that because of inactivity. However I have been filming loads of travelling, amazing places + in the process of converting a van into a camper. It's all just sitting on hard drives and I enjoy making content and keeping the memories, but everything is so toxic online now? I would love to get into editing some of that content and might just post for my own records and enjoyment over the coming months!

STORY TIME: why I said no to a licensing deal this morning.
Last week a Content Licensing Executive from a global social media agency got in touch with me to discuss licensing my YouTube content.ย
The company run a load of large social media pages around the world sharing viral content and wanted to sign a 3 month deal with me to use and promote my YouTube videos on one of their pages focussed on sustainability.ย
So far, sounds good?
However after a little digging I found that the social media company had been working with Shell (amongst other questionable companies) for several years; predominantly managing their YouTube Channel which uploads awful content trying to mask Shellโs environmental record and pretend they care about the environment.
Regardless of any benefit to me, I have no wish to be associated with a company that has helped one of the worldโs largest polluters try to greenwash their terrible brand.ย
If you are fortunate enough to be offered opportunities like this yourself, please make sure to look into these companies and the deals they offer, even if it looks great on the surface.

I haven't been able to film much recently as I've been super busy with work but got some interesting videos planned to help people find the best deals on flights and comparing accommodation booking sites, so stay tuned!ย
