In 1993, Walter and Nina founded Global Vision Ministries to continue the work already begun while in New York.
God gave them a vision for 300 new churches in the former Soviet Union. What seemed impossible became a reality of more than 500 new congregations. Today many of these churches are planting other churches.
In 1994 they began the Global Vision Rapid Deployment Bible Training Schools. First started in Kiev, Ukraine, then in St. Petersburg, Russia; later in other regions of Ukraine and Russia as well as Armenia. More than 3000 leaders have been trained in these schools, and thousands more in shorte term training programs. Many of these are now pastors and leaders in new congregations. Bible Schools are being conducted in Ukraine, Armenia and Russia.
Walter and Nina discovered that ministries and churches sometimes had a desire to work in the mission field but did not know where to start or who to connect with. Through Global Vision they created a network and umbrella.
