I’ve been feeling super nostalgic lately. Debating doing an Anthem stream in honor of the game’s 4 year anniversary tomorrow.

For the last time: "What's going on all of you fantastic freelancers? My name is William and I'm the (former) host of Your Anthem!"
Since the news in February, I've taken some time away and wanted to share what I've been up to. Long before the heartbreaking announcement RE: Anthem, I was taking a long hard look at my place in the industry. The last few years have easily been the best of not just my personal life, but my professional life as well, and I owe that entirely to so, so many people.
I also cannot express enough how grateful I am to Anthem, the community, EA's GCP, and the phenomenal friends and devs at BioWare & EA (both past & present) who forever changed my life. I am forever better as a person and professional having met and befriended you all.
I’ve kept my career private, but I figured I’d open up a bit and share what I’ve been up to. The last two years I’ve been the Project Lead on a new multi-media IP. While the project is still in its early stages, I am confident in the V7 team’s leadership and creative vision as I move on to what's next. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with publishers, studios, and games such as Ubisoft, Facebook Gaming, PUBG, Amazon Gaming, and Versus Evil (to name a few) through YellowPike. I am incredibly grateful to that team for taking a chance on me and for their mentorship.
All of that leading to now. I'm proud to be working with Facebook Gaming again in partnership with BavaMedia as the new Director of Strategic Partnerships! Excited to be helping creators achieve their most ambitious goals while simultaneously building healthy communities in the gaming industry.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all.
The YA & Anthem communities, BioWare, EA, the leaders who took a chance on me, and the friends who’ve been wellsprings of wisdom and encouragement when I needed it most. From the bottom of my heart and soul: "Thank you."
In closing, I’m forever grateful to Anthem for the lifelong friendships, opportunities, and the path I’m on now. A friend once said, “Projects get canceled but franchises can live again.” I’m right there with him and resolute in the belief that Anthem will return again.
So until we meet again either as a content creator or on the production side, remember my fantastic freelancer friends: stay safe, be excellent to one another, treat devs with respect, and as always, we are strong alone, but we are so much stronger together.

I’ve been having an absolute BLAST with Outriders. I’ll do an initial impressions vid in a bit, but maaaaaaan is this game fun. Also: the Anthem logo is a piercing 🥲

Hey Freelancers! It has been a busy few weeks for Anthem news and I’m sorry for dropping the ball on it.
At first I was waiting for things to develop a bit more beyond rumors, and then we got hit with that freak winter storm in Texas. Regular power has been restored so expect new vids soon.

I hope you all are having an absolutely phenomenal holiday season!
As a bit of a heads up, I’m going to be taking some time away from Anthem and content creation in general. Nothing to worry about.
I do have a few videos scheduled between now and into the new year, so while the content will be sparse: it will still be coming.
Thank you all as always for your support, kind words, and patience this year! You all are the sole reason I keep things going. Do me a solid btw? Be sure to send some love and holiday tidings to our hard working friends on the Austin team for their continued passion and dedication to Next!
