My name is Cody Geil and I am a multi- instrumentalist and singer. I like to write and record full string quartet arrangements and original compositions. I play a 5 string David Gage realist violin and a 5 string Yamaha electric violin. I often times will perform solo with a Boomerang loop pedal. I also lead a jazz band with a focus on the the great American songbook, French classics, and remixed pop songs. I am also a member of the Echo Chamber Ensemble (with Erica Mancini and Stephanie Babirak). This is a unique group comprised of vocals, violin, accordion, and harp.
I have played violin with The Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Childish Gambino, Robin Thicke, St. Vincent and others. I also do remote recording and teach various styles.
