What’s up gamers, I wanted to give y’all a heads up on why there haven’t been weekly videos, or really much content at all as of late.
First of all, thanks for all the support on the channel recently! The videos have been super fun to make and it seems like y’all are enjoying them.
When I first decided towards the end of last year that I wanted to do weekly videos, I genuinely thought I could keep up with it. Thanks to some AMAZING help from my editor Sane, we were doing decently for a while too!
That being said, the process was not without it’s challenges. Due to how content on this channel is formed, I typically require 5 or 6 people for a video recording. I also have gotten to where I much prefer videos where everyone gets to be creative. This meant that each week I would have to round up 4 or 5 of my friends for a recording, but they also have to prep their own creations for the recording.
For everyone outside me and my assistant Matt, this can be a tall task within the weekly restrictions, especially when they all have their own jobs and lives to attend to. The weekly requirement also meant it was that much harder to do more exciting, full length projects that I come up with.
Add onto that all of the other things I’ve been cooking, the workload can become quite heavy. There were days me and my editor were working through the entire night and then past the scheduled upload time to finish up videos. For right now I see weekly uploads more as a GOAL for me to work towards over time rather than a standard. I think with more planning and experience, it’s an achievable goal. I have a tendency to be very slow to learn and grow my abilities, so it may take some time, but I’m in it for the long haul 😎
