Barclay Brass is an ensemble comprised of some of Washington DCâs top brass musicians. Performers of the highest caliber, Barclay Brass members perform with premier military bands, major symphonies, and are in demand as freelancers all over the country. From the Pope to the President, Barclay Brass musicians have performed for some of the highest profile officials and ceremonies.
These musicians created Barclay Brass for the opportunity to perform a wide variety of classical music arranged by David J. Miller. For close to a decade, they have performed diverse genres of music to audiences of all ages.
In 2017, Barclay Brass was part of âThe Force at 40â, the 40th anniversary celebration of Star Wars, which was held at the Smithsonianâs National Air and Space Museum. In 2018, they were featured in a video produced by TIME magazine to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Stanley Kubrick's iconic film â2001: A Space Odyssey.â In 2021, they were featured in the Washington Post Magazine.
