Since I’ve been silent for the past 40 months, most people probably don’t even know this channel existed. I have no idea how many of you actually recognize this post.
It’s been so long that, honestly, I’m not even sure where to start.
In short, this channel lost more than three years of growth—time when many others in the community were thriving. Some channels are now approaching 1 million subscribers, so it really puts into perspective how far behind this one has fallen.
Some people guessed that I’m building a 1/1 scale Ultimate Grade Unicorn—but unfortunately, that’s not the case. The reason for my absence has to do with how I spent my early 20s. Due to a family decision made around 2014, I had to deal with a lot of things that most people go through at that stage of life. So the delay wasn’t intentional—I was completely away from YouTube.
Unfortunately, videos in this niche—especially long-form content—don’t perform nearly as well now as they did between 2021 and 2023. That trend has almost disappeared. Shorts still have potential, but they only generate around 0.3% to 1% of the revenue that long videos used to bring in. So, I’m still a bit skeptical about focusing on Shorts for now. Due to this delay, I’m also not quite sure whether I’ll be doing this full-time or not at this point.
That said, I only posted 9 videos over the course of a year, and there are still so many model kits I’ve wanted to build but haven’t yet. So regardless of how my videos perform, I think I’ll continue making the long-form content I was doing three years ago. Even if I can’t pursue it full-time, I’d still post one video a year or something like that—I'm willing to continue this activity in the future.
As for the plans I had in 2020—it’s a lot harder to carry them out now due to the delay. I’m still unsure whether I’ll revisit those ideas, since they’re extremely time-consuming. So instead, I’ll start over with something I can actually do right now—upload videos.
Since last year, I’ve spent about 6 months working on this channel again to make up for the lost time.
Hopefully, those of you who’ve been waiting for this channel to come back will enjoy what’s coming.

Next Full Build is actually Hi ν rg. I just finished recording the main footage yesterday.
This build took me 300+ hours in total. The most extended build I've ever done.
I'd say build quality itself is by far the best, cleanest on this channel.
All footage imported in the premiere looks like 20 hours of footage in total.
The rest of the work I am going to deal with is editing (Probably 7~10 days), shooting the ending (1~2 weeks), color tweaks (a week).
BTW, I might move to Los Angeles in January.
If I do that, I have to cancel Zeong Full Build because I do not have enough time to shoot and edit the video since I have another Full Build project going on. For those who've been waiting for the video, I have to apologize that I break the promise.
If I stay in Japan, I might post higher-quality videos from 2022 based on my research. However, looking around other channels, recently, Youtube algorism has behaved quite unexpectedly. I will take a massive risk by abandoning the pass to Los Angeles.
I still haven't decided whether I will make this channel my full-time job, do the thing I had planned back in summer 2020, or move to Los Angeles for my full-time thing.
All thing I can do for now is to finish this project.

This channel reached another milestone, guys...
This month, MGEX Full Build hit 1M views.
I have NEVER imagined this channel will have a 1 million viewed video.
When I started shooting MGEX Full Build, right after RX-78-2 Full Build, I had 0 likes, 0 comments, and 0 subscribers on this channel. In short, Zero everything.
Knowing that I have to spend around 45 days on just one video, I do not know someone will even watch the video or not, was a difficult choice for me. I have to decide whether I will continue this channel or not until July this year. I only had around 270 days left at that time.
Eventually, just the ending sequence took me more than ten days to shoot and edit. The ending sequence has 90 seconds long, three times more length than the last two cinematic endings I posted. Also, transition and each cut made from scratch without sliders were much more dedicated than the previous two. I replaced the MGEX LED battery running out four times during the shoot. Even thumbnail took me about 7 hours to consider layouts from several options I made (Actually, there were much crazier options, end up with the most simple one).
I even thought of throwing away 270 bucks and the time I spend on the kit during the scribing stage. I could switch to something more manageable like HG or any other kit to produce more videos.
When I posted the video, there were already tons of MGEX reviews on youtube. It was almost three months after release. I was expecting my video has no place on Youtube.
However, you guys applause the time and effort that I spend on the video. Thank you very, very much for your support. As a consequence, the time was well spent.
I'll strive to provide you more value through this channel.
I apologize for the extended delay in posting videos. I realized PG unleashed released right after MG Wing Zero EW. I thought the release date was December 31st, but it was December 19th. I've decided to switch to PG RX from RG Zeong. So PG unleashed is almost halfway so far.
Apart from video production, there is an ongoing thing. I haven't posted anything related to this yet. It will be challenging and very time-consuming again. I don't even know that is possible or not. However, this is something I've been planning since last summer, before making this channel. Hopefully, I can make it happen by the end of 2022.

No one mentioned several changes I made in the RG Zeong, include my family and subscribers. However, the feedbacks are very positive. I feel I’m on the right track✌️
I found quality lies somewhere invisible, but people ’feel’ it instead of finding it. I will keep striving to work on the hidden quality. I spent most of my time on those things after I begin to post on YouTube. I don’t think this is a healthy manner as a Youtuber. I have to produce more videos😂
I’m currently facing the audio issue. I want a low-end warm sound that is comfortable for your ear. My video does not reach that standard. Hopefully, I will fix it in the future video. I am working on that right now.
Also, I am so sorry about the massive delay for the MGEX. I am passing about 35% of the ending sequence, but I don’t like the way it turns out, so I am redoing it over and over again. I feel there is almost no way to end this😱
I assume that in this week, MG Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka is going to be released.
I may post Wing Gandam EW Zero Ver.Ka build first instead of MGEX full build and RG ZEONG full build.
