AMONG SERPENTS is three months old!
To celebrate, I commisioned some artwork from the incredibly talented @derpydragonarts on Instagram.
When Ashlee first sent me an early sketch, I had to scrape my jaw off the floor. It was incredible. Ashlee is sending me a poster that I'll be putting up on display in my office.

The movie announcement video I posted last summer has suddenly started getting a bunch of views again and has crossed twelve million views.
What's really wild is when I posted dozens of writing tip videos, I'd be lucky to get over a hundred views for any of them.

There's a chance I hit 20,000 subscribers this week.
That's pretty wild. Less than a year ago, I had around 2,000.

I've received countless questions asking when the SKY'S END movie is coming out.
Honestly, I do not know.
I want to be clear that this post is nothing official on timelines or anything. I've received no info on this. This is simply me researching the timelines of other books turned to movies. I thought it'd be fun and interesting!
Something else I want to be clear about is whenever I talk about the SKY'S END film, I'm mostly speculating. I'm not a filmmaker, I'm not directing the film or choosing the cast or writing the script, but I don't mind speculating because it's fun to imagine what the film might be like!
From my understanding, for a film in development to hit theaters, a lot of things have to go right. Sometimes, it all goes smoothly, and you get a movie much quicker. Sometimes, things go on for years (or worse, never happen).
Anyway, enjoy the carousel and have fun speculating. 🙂

I am visiting Salt Lake Community College tomorrow! I can't wait to return to my old stomping grounds. I graduated with my associates from SLCC before I went to get my bachelors at the University of Utah.
At SLCC, I took a creative writing class where I first learned that I wasn't such a bad writer, after all!
