The fourth "Guitar Solo Studies" video lesson has just been released!
▪️ "Solo #4 - "Boss Battle" is a Pro grade solo at 172bpm in the key of F minor. The opening sweeping is tricky enough, requiring some pretty intricate 2WPS folding of the arpeggio as it doubles back on itself. The solo then proceeds through some pentatonic scalar play, to an attitude lick, then onto the finale consisting of various repeating patterns. The topic discussed in this lesson is "Building Tension" - a fantastic way of keeping listeners engaged and interested in seeing how the solo ends."
