Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 12 raised the bar yet again! I’ve been waiting so long for the anime to get to this point and it did not disappoint! For starters, I really like how they added the pictures to show us more of what the group did during the trip to Miyazaki as well as when they arrived. Of course, the highlights came from Aqua revealing Goro’s backstory and when Sarina died. Tbh, it did feel sadder watching it than when I read that scene. Lemme know how y’all felt about that scene. 😢

Ofc that Kana frame dying like Ai was brutal asf too. I thought it was fan art till I saw it in the anime lmao We also got to see Ruby reveal to Akane her feelings about Goro and how she wanted to marry him, only for that crow to snuff out her hope by leading Ruby to Goro’s corpse. It looked so brutal but I love how Akane went straight into detective mode as soon as she saw the body. 😂

It was an interesting choice to change how the crow girl appeared too. In the manga at least, it looked different. I didn’t mind tho. Next episode is guaranteed to be peak too. Unfortunately tho, the season finale is gonna be delayed by a few days. I think it comes out on Oct 6, which is gonna be a Sunday. Seems like Doga Koba needs the extra time and I hope they take as long as they need to give the next episode the love it deserves. That does mean next week’s chapter won’t release with the episode tho, which I’m pretty sure Aka timed it for. 😔

Chapter 161 left us with an insane cliffhanger, so 162 is bound to be an insane once since it was meant to come out with the finale. Btw my review for 161 is out now too, if y’all wanna check it out. Today was still a great day for OnK. Can’t wait for the final jjk leaks later too! But yeah, that’s it from me and I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/ night!

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 11 was peak from start to finish! Ofc I just have to start with Aqua’s father showing up for the first time in the anime and that reveal easily makes this a 10/10 episode for me! His voice is perfect! For those who don’t know, his VA is basically confirmed to be Mamoru Miyano, who’s voiced characters like Light from Death Note and Okabe from Stein’s Gate to name a few. Bro is actually the perfect casting and I can’t wait to see him pop off with this role too! 😆

Aqua also went out with Kana and then Akane this episode. Playboy Goro in full effect. They adapted the Kana section very well as her reactions were hilarious! I liked the anime only additions they added as well, like with Kana swiping her phone to see Akane and Aqua’s picture saved. But the best additions were with Akane, showing her realizing the simple loophole Aqua missed. Doga Koba really made a whole unique sequence for Akane’s depiction of the Hoshino family. I got chills when Akane began realizing all that with the ominous music on the background. The eerie tone was very well done, especially when Akane suddenly turning around thinking someone was following her. That was actually concerning and even made me think there could actually be a stalker watching her 😰

But yeah, all time peak OnK episode! We got fed good even with the manga on break this week. Two more episodes left to go unfortunately. But on the bright side, we’re that much closer to witnessing something great in the season finale! I do have a video coming out shortly too, so look out for that if you’re interested, and I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night too! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 10 was definitely a much more chill episode compared to the last few. After the break last week, this was a really great transitional episode into the next arc, which is called the Private Arc in the manga. Of course, Doga Koba still went above and beyond with their additions to the story like by showing how down bad Kana is for Aqua 😳

Jokes aside tho, they did a great job showing Aqua finally being freed from the shackles of revenge now and how that has impacted him so far. With his goal gone, he’s bit lost, which in a way allows us to focus more on Ruby for now and what she’s trying to do. She really wants to meet Goro again and used that energy to push Miyako into contacting Himura, who she also inspired. Thanks to that, we got a brief look into Miyako’s past, which is actually pretty cool since it’s actually a panel from way further in the manga.
👀

Of course, the highlight was definitely that Himura sequence where he got inspired by Ruby. Doga Koba had no reason to pop off like that but it was amazing. Then the cherry on top was our first look at the mysterious girl in Miyazaki. I did not expect to see her so soon but it was till hype asf the way they teased her! I really can’t wait to see the rest of the Private Arc! 😤

Oshi No Ko chapter 160 also dropped today and it was an insane chapter. There is a break next week tho, but I’m certain now that Aka is just trying to time it right and drop a generational chapter for the season 2 finale. But yeah, my review for chapter 160 is out now if anyone still wants to check it out. Now I just gotta wait till jjk leaks tonight 🤣

As for now, I hope y’all enjoyed today’s episode and chapter. Us OnK fans been eating good recently and I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night too! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 9 was definitely one of the best episodes of the anime! Especially with how they handled Aqua’s moment. The direction, sound choice, and visual were all on point! Also I actually really enjoyed the anime original scenes they added like with Aqua carrying Akane or when we saw them at the restaurant. Overall a peak episode and really a perfect cliffhanger for the end of the episode.

Finally back to the revenge plot, which I’m sure anime onlies will be interested to see. I remember being so shocked about the reveal that Aqua and Taiki are brothers lol. Next episode should be a good one too with Taiki revealing some important info and especially Aqua’s reaction to it.

Also, apparently next episode will be delayed for a week and it’ll prolly be a special episode instead. Most likely a recap, so that’s unfortunate. Hopefully Doga Koba aren’t behind or being rushed. We’ll have Chapter 159 next week at least tho. Sorry about the late post too, but I do hope all of you enjoyed this episode and have a great rest of your day/night too! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 8 was absolutely stunning! I’m sure Kana fans were delighted by the amazing animation sequences she got. Her galaxy eyes were so well done along with her take over. Kana really did steal the show for the entire first half of the episode and they still managed to transition so well into building up Aqua’s moment next. Speaking of Aqua’s moment, the scene when he finally let his rage out as Touki scared me for a second 😂

It’s one of the frames I have posted here, but like I felt like I could actually feel the rage inside of him! That was done so well and I’m extremely excited to see how they wrap it all up in the next episode. I have a good feeling they’re gonna go all out with the animation considering the content coming up. The frame of Aqua when he was talking to Gotanda also fits pretty well with the manga chapter that came out today. At least, that might be one of his reactions when he sees what happened. 👀

My chapter 158 review is out btw. The link is down below if you haven’t checked it out yet. Brutal cliffhanger too considering Aka is going on another break. Gonna be tough waiting for the next chapter. Hope y’all enjoyed this chapter tho, as well as this episode, and have a great rest of your day/night too ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 7 was yet another great episode for the anime. This time Akane had a majority of the focus and we also got to see how much Kana really inspired her in the past. In fact, the episode went above and beyond showcasing Akane’s feelings for Kana and then giving us Kana’s own perspective. The episode really seemed to emphasize how Akane wanted to see Kana’s fight back through her acting, but Kana currently believes that it’s better if she shines the spotlight on others.

I was hoping we’d get a similar sequence like Melt got from the last episode, but that sequence near the end with Akane showing Kana she was capable of taking the spotlight was still really good. It was nearly enough to inspire Kana to fight back, but then she remembered her past. However, Akane may still get her chance to fight Kana going all out now that Aqua will be helping her. 😉

I’m pretty confident the next two episodes will be some of the best in the series going off the content in the manga, so I can’t wait for those! You could even say this episode was a setup for what’s to come next. But yeah, I hope y’all enjoyed this episode and have a great rest of your day/night! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 episode 6 somehow managed to surpass my expectations yet again. I’m just gonna have to assume each episode is gonna be better than the last at this point cuz holy shit this episode was godly! 😂

Literally the animation was on another level the whole episode and the battles actually looked like legit fighting scenes. Animation looked as smooth as JJK! Ofc Melt stole the show with his performance and they really went all in for his character arc. This is what it means to enhance the manga with a high quality anime adaptation and I can only imagine what the next few episodes focusing on the other characters will look like. One thing for sure is that they will be absolutely stunning! 🔥

Also chapter 157 for the manga dropped today too. It was a pretty chill chapter to go along with this week’s insane episode, but the manga is on break again u fortunately. My chapter review is up now if y’all wanna check it out and I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 5 is actually the best episode of the season! Every episode is better than the last so far and they’ve adapted all the scenes perfectly! We finally got to see Akane tell Aqua she’d even help him kill his target. That was one of the scenes I’ve really been waiting to see adapted so I’m glad they did it justice. 🔥

I also loved how they’re showing Ruby’s feelings more with the animation. That frame of Ruby’s staringan briefly turning dark was hype af ngl! Great foreshadowing! Plus the way they continue to show Aqua dealing with PTSD in this episode is so dark, but actually goes so well for the anime. It makes me so certain they’re gonna pop off with some of the scenes during the actual play, which starts next episode. 👀

But yeah, they were so many great moments in this episode! I didn’t even mention Kana and Akane’s skirmishes or Melt’s interaction with Sakuya. Peak episode for sure and it’s still gonna get better from here! Lemme know if y’all enjoyed it just as much and I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night. ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 episode 4 was absolute peak from start to finish! We got to see Goa and Abiko finally work together, which was great! However, I was really looking forward to how they’d adapt Aqua’s PTSD and they did not disappoint! It may not have been exactly like in the manga, but the way they depicted Goro was scary af and perfect for the anime!

Then we got to see some peak Akane moments adapted as well. I thought the anime adapted her scenes comforting Aqua and figuring out the truth very well. Akane has even more great scenes coming up too, so I can’t wait to see them. Also did anyone catch the Easter egg they threw in on the screen Gotanda was looking at in the end of the episode? They name dropped a certain person 👀🫢

But yeah, I hope y’all enjoyed the episode. Chapter 156 is out as well and so is my review, which I linked below. There is a break next week though, but at least we’ll have the anime to look forward to. Anyways, I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night! ✌️

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 3 was prolly my favorite episode of the season so far! There were so many fun moments like Akane showing why she’s best girl this season and Ruby complaining about not having enough work cuz of Frill’s bragging. Ofc, a majority of the episode centered around Abiko and Yoriko. I thought the anime adapted their scenes perfectly, even enhancing them! It perfectly depicted the struggles mangaka go through as well as giving us a better understanding of Abiko’s character as well.

Although I was disappointed we didn’t get the full stage around experience animated in this episode, I figure we’ll get to see it in full effect later on in the arc, so I can’t wait for that along with the next episodes! 😆

Also the Oshi No Ko manga is finally back after the one week break and it still feels cool to have double the content. I have a link to my chapter 155 review below, but for now, I hope y’all have a great rest of your day/night! ✌️
