To all our YT friends and fams: We all do agree that our frontliners are heaven sent. How can we protect them? We protect them by staying at home. <3

Thinking outloud:
With all the information being exchanged left and right, studies here and there, trying to ascertain the "foreseable" future, one can't help but feel a sense of terror, panic and sadness -- it's choking you.
But you know what?
One has to pull the shit together. Keep calm and collected (I am telling this too, to myself whenever I feel a tinge of panic).
Do the 5:
- Stay at home.
We have a lot of great things to do, things that we all have been wanting to do, and things that we all have been avoiding but opportunity presents--- and it's telling you, come on man, you have the time now, do it (Now!).
- Wash your hands with soap and water. Everyone, experts all around the world conclude the same thing - wash those hands with soap and water!! Practice good hygeine!
- Don't touch your face! No matter what, don't touch your face!
- Distance yourself away from others. If one can't help it and has the urget need to go outside, try to maintain distance from others. When you return home, practice good hygeine --- shower immediately and change clothes. There's no ifs or buts!
-Cough into your elbow when you can't help it.
You know, this is no longer China's problem. We are all riding this tide together. Keep calm and collected. Pull it together.
Peace out!

A few days ago, life was pretty "normal." The stores we've shopped before was laid back. Come 2 or so days after, the toilet papers and almost all kitchen towels flew out of the shelves. I wasn't feeling the panic before, but that day when we shopped at Walmart and Vonns then after, my husband and I felt the sort of "urgency" to get groceries (like what preppers do) because we came to the States with nothing in our flat.
If anything, the reaction of others is catapulting everyone in a great panic mode.
Keep safe everyone. We'll come back in YT every now and then share with you what we see here in the west.
Peace out.

In the meantime, please don't forget to checkout our other videos, leave a comment or suggestions. We love reading your comments and we'll definitely get back to you.
Cheers, love and hugs #ExpatMemo

A couple of days ago, we casually bought a box of N94 and N99 masks in a pharmacy. Nobody else seemed to care for these items.
Fast forward. Today, we went to two pharmacies to stock up some masks. There were N80s, N94s and anti-pollen to choose from, but no N95s and above. Even though the masks were abundant in numbers -- pile high of boxes in one of the stores -- everybody was acting calm but at the same time, the whole scene was unsettling.
Everybody went into the store with one intention -- to get the masks. They would choose a mask, and if they find others picking up a different brand, they would follow suit. We were all judging what was the safest.
Somebody was buying N80, and we sorta thought outloud, "that's not good!". The customer put the item back in the shelf and decided to get the brand we were buying.
We wonder what tomorrow would look like, or the next day.
The safest thing to do is to always wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Don't touch your eyes, your nose, mouth or ears.
Keep safe everyone.
