AS THE PERILOUS TIMES UNFOLD: MATTERS ARISING ARE NOT SURPRISING (I)

Hello beloved,

There is a reason Scripture insists every believer must know Jesus for themselves: The winter is here and it shall not hesitate to ruthlessly cold-fry and knock down anyone whose faith is not firmly rooted in the fiery Christ. It is not enough to listen to men and women teach, you must study to show yourself approved (2 Timothy 2:15); it is not enough to attend prayer meetings, you must take responsibility in building your own robust prayer life.

The apostolic ministry is not an intermediary undertaking, it is an equipping initiative by which believers are trained to arise in obedience to their full ordination in God. This is why the only raw material by which every believer’s faith can be built up is Christ. From the pulpit to the pews, everyone must undergo the same regimen and rigours in order to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Any faith that is not built on Christ will surely fail.

This is why a strong part of the apostolic culture is to insist that everyone develop a personal relationship with Christ daily. This ensures that a believer’s faith is not built on human wisdom but is unshakably established on Christ who is the power and wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 2:5).

There are matters arising that are not surprising as the world is currently agog with those who have yielded their hearts, minds and voices to foul devils who inspire them to mock our sacred faith. Have you noticed the proliferation of those, especially on social media, who have a lot to say in order to discredit our most holy faith? Let me tell you the truth, these attacks against the Christian faith system shall not cease. The Bible has said so:
First of all, know [without any doubt] that mockers will come in the last days with their mocking, following after their own human desires (2 Peter 3:3, AMP)

Therefore, O fellow pilgrim,I shall close this exhortation by quoting a powerful charge from Hosea: IT IS TIME TO SEEK THE LORD! (Hosea 10:12)
