I welcome every one to my channel SG Oil Paint. I am a professional artist From India. Growing up in countryside in eastern India made me curious about nature. The Himalayas, dense forests, Bay of Bengal-all made me wonder about nature and her beauty. I have mingled with different kinds of people, watched their life-struggle, their honesty and simplicity and warm heartedness from very close quarters. Nature, natural beauty and her relationship with people and the great Indian culture and heritage –this is the basis of my paintings. The water, the trees, foliage, grass, distant misty mountains, the horizon line where the sky meets with the ground, portraits, figuratives, cityscapes, seascapes, everything becomes lively with touch of brush. Working in oils and acrylics I employ a bold yet limited colour palette with his traditional time-lapse photo realistic style to give my paintings a presence that captures mood and personality of the characters.
