I started coffee bag weaving in 2017 and these were the first two bags that I made. Back then I had an instagram account for sharing different craft projects and these were all on that account. Later I started a separate account for just coffee bag weaving in 2019 that I used more actively before starting this youtube channel. After studying social media marketing I have decided not to put too much effort into all the fast paced short term social medias, like instagram and tiktok and these days I mostly post here and on my website, where the content doesn't get burried in a day after posting.

I'm planning some projects with these coffee bags with green images. Which color would you choose for the cord?

I started my website when I was unemployed and on a six month digital marketing course where we learnt how to make wordpress websites. At first it was just an exercise, but then it was so cool to create the website and the content and design how everything would work on the website that I wanted to make it good enough to publish it. And the domain and hosting of the website was less than 100€/year so I thought that is not too much for an interesting hobby that I was excited about. I wanted the website to be a place where it is easy to find the basic instructions for the weaving technique and a blog for different weaving projects to show examples. At first I only made content about square weaving (which is the name of the website, ruutu=square and punontaa=weaving), but after starting this youtube channel it all just got out of hand and I started experimenting with different techniques and added more to the channel and the website 😂

This is my new favorite pattern to weave 💛 Very simple with two different coffee bags, but still it looks so different to anything else I have ever made 🤓
