Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating. And if you're celebrating this special day away from home, I'm sending extra love and blessings to you.

I've taken a step back this month to reflect on what this channel will represent and what Kaizabi's mission will be. Over the next few months, I'll focus on exploring how to live your best life away from home, as I live far away from my family like many around us, I deeply relate to this topic.

And to anyone who watched my videos, thank you so much for your time and interest. I'll make you proud.

Dear YouTube Fam,

It's my first community post, and I'm genuinely thankful for each one of you on this journey.

I’m Iram. I came to Canada to study engineering from Bangladesh. While backpacking after graduation last year, the vision for this YouTube channel was born. I started off interviewing strangers with deep questions about life but after months of experimenting, I discovered my niche of having conversations about life as a foreigner in a new country. Being a Canadian immigrant myself, I can offer a refreshing perspective.

With your support, I'm committed to bringing you authentic interviews of exploring all aspects of life as a foreign individual. We're kicking off in Canada, but mark my words—we're going global.

If you’re reading this, thank you, again. You’re what keeps me making these videos. Drop a comment if you're living away from home or thinking of taking the leap.

PS. I have a full-time job right now so I appreciate you putting up with my inconsistent upload schedule. I’m trying to get better at it.
