Good news for those who enjoy my field trip videos - I can drive now! That of course means I can make it to destinations that were previously inaccessible for me, and find some amazing critters that would have otherwise been out of my reach. So stay tuned for many more adventures to come!

Gotta say, I really appreciate ‪@PaleoEdits‬’ indignation on my behalf after my review/critique of Life on our Planet got blocked not long ago. He even went so far as to upload a short video to spite Netflix…

Again, sorry for the delayed uploads - writer’s block and uni assignments aren’t great for YouTube. But I should have a video up very soon!

I feel like I say this a lot, but apologies for the lack of recent uploads. Have had a few assignments due over the last couple weeks, and YouTube’s been on the back burner. A brief phase of writer’s block didn’t help either.
In the meantime, here’s a pic of my recent pairing of Typostola barbata, the biggest Australian huntsman.

Now that it’s spring here in Australia, insects of all kinds have been getting more active. And that’s given me plenty of opportunities to film some footage for an upcoming, and possibly somewhat controversial video: “Wasps are Better than Bees”, which will be detailing the ecological benefits of wasps, as well as the direct and indirect damage caused by the invasive honeybee, widely and erroneously believed to be endangered.
