I’m thrilled to announce my new mixtape, Noetic Passage, is now available on Bandcamp! This project is close to my heart, and I'm excited to finally get it out into the world.

Ho ho ho! 🎅 Today I'll be posting a new tape from the legendary boxset The California Project every 90 minutes all day from Midnight to Midnight (PST / UTC-8).
If you're not familiar, The California Project was a limited 16 tape boxset released in October of 1994 featuring two tapes from eight DJs: Ron D Core, Simply Jeff, DRC, Jon Bishop, DJ Dan, Vitamin D, DJ Trance, and Thee-O. The initial run was limited to just 100 copies and featured multicolored tapes. Each of the 16 tapes is 90 minutes for a grand total of 24 hours of old school madness!
I tried to do something a little different with these videos and added some psychedelic visuals using the tape images as source material. They were a pain in the ass to put together so I hope they go over well :)
These videos will be the last ones I'll post until the new year. Hopefully this will be enough to keep you busy until January.

Howdy folks,
I made a mixtape called Block Control! It's an 80 minute mix of UK garage, drum n bass, and breakbeat tracks that I love. Been working on this one for a few months now and I'm super stoked to finally be able to announce it! It was done on BASF ECP 110 type tape and includes a full color hand stamped / numbered j-card.
It also comes with a download code (FLAC, mp3, and m4a formats) and a 1-inch glow in the dark HD Mixtapes sticker.

Someone asks you to name a few of your favorite mixes of all time. What’s the first mix that comes to mind?
For me it’s this epic house mix from Mark E live at Honey Soundsystem in San Francisco back in 2011.
From like 2009 - 2013 I followed Mark E (and Eddie C) religiously. I have so many of their sets in my iTunes library. But this is the one set I come back to again and again. I swear it gets better every time I listen to it.

Howdy folks,
Just a note to let you know I'll be easing up on posting videos every day. I've been doing this daily since December of 2021 and, while it's fun, it's also a ton of work and after 700+ videos I'm starting to burn out a bit. So I need to take a break and put some space between posts for my own sanity.
In other news, I'm working on something that I hope to be able to share with y'all in the next few weeks. I'm pretty excited about it and I hope you'll dig it as well. Stay tuned!

Another week done and another seven tapes cleaned up and preserved for the future :) Hope you’ve been digging the selections this past week. I really love that Eli Star “Flux” tape that was posted on on Monday. Definitely recommended if you missed it! This coming week is going to be focused on the West Coast scene with tapes ranging from 1991 - 1997ish with a few rare ones mixed in there for good measure. Cheers!
