Hanorah is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, known for her soulful music and rich voice.
Following the release of her album, "Perennial" (2022 Ensoul Records), she toured the U.K. with stops at Liverpool Soundcity and Focus Wales, headlined a SXSW show, and extended the tour to include LA and New York. She has been billed with the likes of Mavis Staples (Pop Mtl) and Lee Fields (Mtl Jazz Fest).
Her EP "Good Guys/Bad Guys," (2019 D2C Records) gained over a million streams and numerous awards. "Perennial" has been played on over 20 Canadian radio stations. Exclaim! listed the album as a staff pick and she performed on the hit Quebec TV show Belle et Bum.
After the success of her music video "Time Waits for No Woman," a chance encounter with film producer George Assimakopoulos (Orphan Black, Hannibal) got her the lead role in her first feature film, which will premiere at the KCFF in 2025.
Her next EP, “Closer than Hell,” produced by Max Frazer (Dylyn), releases May 2025.
