I love English and books. I think books give you a chance to escape the real world and delve into other lives. I also think that books can help you realize things about yourself and help you become stronger even though they are not self-help books. I'm looking at you, trauma novels.

I adore reading and stepping into other worlds. I also have my BA in English Studies and am actually in love with grammar and linguistics. These are two fields that many people shy away from because they can be hard to grasp, but for me, I love learning the mechanics of things, and language is no different. I love learning about linguistics, particularly how English evolved into what it is today because it makes the current version of the language make so much more sense. I also just love linguistics and grammar in general.

Come for the books and the cut-and-dry explanations of language, and stay for the cats that will randomly appear.
