I recently valued $NVDA at $103.01. The stock is down to $105.70 on news of an antitrust investigation. It's definitely within my buying range.

How to prepare for a recession:
Increase your emergency savings - add a month or 2 of expenses to your current emergency fund.
Payoff all high interest debt - absolutely no credit card debt.
Rebalance your portfolio - consider more bonds or bond funds to increase the level of safety in your portfolio.
If you're prepared, there is nothing to fear.

I have no issue with insurance agents. But simply put, they're not advisors.
Many pose as advisors, believing they understand financial planning.
Some are good in that they make sure the product they're selling fits inside your financial plan, but they aren't skilled in developing plan itself.
There's a difference between a salesman giving you details about their product and a fiduciary developing a plan that suits financial needs and goals.
