K.P. Jayan is making waves in the mind of music lovers in india and abroad. With his wonderful voice and excellent performances in various languages specially in Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam, he has received Dr. Shivram Karand Award in 2015 from Karnataka and was also accorded facilitations by Gulf Malayali Welfare Association in Calicut By famous script writer T. A. Razak and Mamukoya In 2016 January, 25th at Tagore cenitnary hall.
He has performed more than 1000 stages in gulf countries and performed for Dubai Government sponsered event in several stages during Back to school celebrations.
