Howdy y'all, being held at gunpoint by Sarcastic Chorus to come out of hiding and post about the #NewDeal4Animation movement. As he should, cuz this shit sucks. Our favourite cartoon creators like Dana Terrace and Owen Dennis have gone into detail about how animation writers do the same, if not more work than live action writers, yet only get paid a fraction of the money they do because animation is seen as lesser. It's really demotivating for both the current industry workers, and people breaking into the industry to know that they're never going to be able to make the money they deserve. You can do something today by signing this petition and sharing it with your friends.

I'll be real with ya fam, I've been struggling HARD with depression and anxiety lately! Youtube is one of my biggest sources of stress, and it's been getting harder and harder to script and edit videos. Unfortunately, I'm also kind of enjoying the time off...
Uploading so frequently had me hurtling towards burn out. As such, I might start creating less, but much longer content. Say, 1-3 videos around 30mins long every month, rather than my usual 6-12 videos that are usually around 7mins. I feel like my videos suffer significantly from having to be short in length and uploaded quickly, and I'd much rather gun for quality than quantity. I try very hard to make my content thoughtful and unique, and I just can't do that when I have to constantly cover every new topic in order to stay relevant. Making less videos would also allow me time to do other fun stuff for you guys, such as streaming, which'll be both on here and on www.twitch.tv/cjtirl !
With all that being said, I would very much like to talk about the new Helluva Boss trailer that dropped! Might try doing it unscripted though, just discussing my thoughts and theories I have about everything we've been shown! No promises, but if I manage to get myself together to go through with that, I'm aiming to get it out in the next day or so.
