While watching some videos and scrolling away, an old thumbnail appeared that I hadn't seen for a long time. I wrote and recorded it after an incident where a homeless man who was an alcoholic passed away on the streets of Bradford. I knew him through chatting to him and quite enjoyed our interactions.
I then got to thinking what his last thoughts might have been before his life ebbed away and for some reason, these words just popped into my head and half an hour later, I wrote lyrics for a song called Flame Flickers Away and then wrote down a simple little tab and then just recorded it on my cakewalk studio.
Listening back now I can really tell how uncomfortable I was singing. I'm a reluctant singer anyway and I would say my voice is very average at best and that's putting it kindly. But it made me realise why I started this channel. To feel more comfortable in front of a microphone. To feel more comfortable with my own voice.
My plan was to recite some articles until I felt more comfortable and more confident in front of a microphone, then shut this channel down because I thought that no-one would find what I had to say interesting. But the channel just grew and grew and then I just felt I had a responsibility to people who had subscribed and I'm immensely proud this channel and what we've achieved so far so thank you for that my friends. ❤️

Something different for today's upload. I got the opportunity to have a conversation with Rejoin the EU's Treasurer Richard Hewison and the Leader Brenden Donnally. Unfortunately Brenden's internet failed on him, so it was just me and Richard in the end. We talked about this general election and how its going so far.
I recognise it's nothing to do with my usual uploads but it was another opportunity to try and improve on something that is very alien to me and that is interviewing people. Again I did my best at short notice and I know I will have got things wrong so please be gentle with me. 😊
Even though I have chaptered the hour long conversation. What I will also do is I will upload a couple of chapters as I know a full hour will be too long for most of you.

Good morning my friends, I hope everyone is very, very well. The reason why I was absent last week was because up until Wednesday, I wasn't very well. But while I was unwell, I was finding content and I've been creative. So just to let you know, my latest creation will be up at 12pm today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did enjoy creating them. 😁

Hello my friends. I hope you are all very well? You may have noticed I didn't drop any content yesterday? There's a couple of reasons for that. Firstly, I didn't see any interesting and engaging content from either the House of Commons or from select committee meetings either. Secondly, my wife and my eldest son are on holiday with her mum and I'm holding the fort.
But I have been busy in-between looking after the house creating some content. I came up with an interesting idea as a bit of play on words called Daily Current Affairs and it will upload at mid-day tomorrow. It's still about politics but it will be different to what I normally do. I will be still creating content from select committee meeting and the House of Commons. But when there's nothing available that's interesting or engaging happening from either within the House of Commons or select committees, I feel that I'm struggling for content if you know what I mean? Because let's be honest here, something tell me that a 10 minute video about Work of the Financial Conduct Authority, from the Treasury Select committee, is going to capture the imagination of the nation is it?
So it will drop tomorrow at noon, let me know what you think and I'm hoping to make stuff like this as interesting and engaging as possible. It's about this horrific Rwanda booklet this extreme Brexit Tory government have come up with. I do hope you enjoy it and hopefully I will be able to get back to normal next week. Also, thank you so much for your brilliant support and kindness. I'm always forever grateful for it.

Hello my friends, I do hope everyone is very well? Just a quick message saying there will not be any content tonight. Two reasons really. Firstly, me and my beloved went to the football last night and didn't have enough time to do any material. Secondly, on this day 31 years ago, my beloved had the great misfortune to meet me. 🤣 Gonna do a bit of work tonight but will spend some good quality time with my family tonight. Hopefully back to normal tomorrow. Have a very pleasant evening all and take car. ❤️
