As an Expat how do you (or how do you plan to) pay for Medical Expenses while in the Philippines?
In my upcoming video, Expats - Cost of Healthcare in The Philippines, I will cover each of the below options.

Have you got sick while either living in Asia or on a holiday? I am just feeling better after being sick for the last two weeks - the first 10 days were similar to a really bad flu (head so painful couldn't touch my head, body aches, no appetite, felt cold (wore sweat pant and hoody, which I never do) but still sweating in tropical heat) and then recovering the last 4 days. For me living here and losing 2 weeks was ok but this would have ruined a holiday. If you experienced something similar, how did you deal with your illness? Note: the funny thing is prior to getting sick I was working on a new video, Cost of Medical Care for Expats in the Philippines, - sorry it is delayed - but I will get back on it this week.

Canadian and Filipina wife sharing retired life in the Philippines and abroad.
You can live an expensive lifestyle in the Philippines, viz., buy your Ferrari, luxury home with staff, at a fraction of the cost in other countries. BUT NOT that rich? I am same so you may be surprised how great a retired life you can afford as a regular person. DON'T believe the BS about living here for under $800/mth. Those Click Baiters are setting you up for failure.
Have a realistic budget if you want to retire in any country so you can have a life.
The Philippines is a great place with options for most budgets. Travel and see what country is best for you - it's still cheap to travel around Asia so JUST DO IT.
I picked the Philippines, you may decide the same or differently, its all good JUST decide for yourself based on your retirement goals, interests and budget.
Amping take care,
Greg and Lindie Rose
