Hey there, everyone!
It's April 1st, and unfortunately I won't be able to do an April Fools' day event this year. I'm going to be basically doing two live action Viewbob videos at my college's annual Literary Conference, and as such I've been too busy to prepare anything.
A video on POWERPLANT is nearing completion, I just need to find time to record some voice over. I will have a beard in it.
I hope you all have a great April Fools', and the rest of your days are great as well!!

Today I finally released my long whispered of Scared Famous/FF>> retrospective video. It's a little sloppy, but it's a two-year labor of love and a tribute to the album that changed my life/taught me who I am. The OST is made up of covers by friends of the channel and fellow AP-obsessees. I'd write more here, but I have so many thoughts that they all get bottlenecked at my keyboard, ending in a hundred mile-long gridlock.
I'm going to start making videos more 'regularly' again. It feels like I've just awoken from a two-year long nap. I appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope you dig my dumb ramblings about listening to FF>> as a dejected youth.
May the Music Never Die.

Hey everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to do this, but it needed to be done. I cannot EVEN with Ariel Pink anymore. I have uploaded my final AP rarity. An extended cut of the classic track Party Zone World. I will be back soon with my first video in this new venture. It's a Super Metroid challenge video.

So, I took down the two Mark Winter tracks on my channel.
I wanted to leave them up, but Erik Nervous got in touch asking me to. I figured hate against me I can deal with, but if someone else is being attacked, I need to nip that in the bud.
To all the people who commented on my video, calling me a jerk, an idiot, a bully for... sharing music I wanted everyone else to hear(?), you're not a punk, you're just a dickhead in denim. I ask all of you, especially Mark Winter himself, have you NEVER listened to a fan bootleg of unreleased material in your life? I highly doubt the answer is yes. I can appreciate that Mark wants all his music landlocked to his hometown, but I want to listen to it! I want other people to be able to listen to it! It was already on the internet, I as well as many others loved it dearly. Just yesterday I had someone ask me for the MP3, as it was the main song getting them through the short commute to long days at work. It belongs to us just as much as it belongs to mark at this point.
He may not owe me anything, as a few were apt to point out but nor do I owe him anything. He made music I like, but he's not my friend.
I will continue to post his music on my channel as I see fit, but it will NOT be Erik Nervous' doing, and anyone who continues to direct hate at him is a jerk.
Just remember, there's no such thing as an organization devoted to individuality, and there is no voice of the people.

Today is October 26th, 2021. 20 years ago--this day in 2001, Steviepink Javascript was born! You know who else was born that exact day? Me! And someday, I will die!
Regardless, today I'm happy to announce a video long in the making, a long video on the album Scared Famous/FF>>, and what it means to me, to a community, and how it came to be. I can't give a specific release date as I have a horrible work ethic, but I can promise it by the end of this year, to commemorate the album's 20th anniversary!
To tie you over, I present you all with this pristine lossless rip of the original Scared Famous/FF>> cd-rs, newly made by none other than PDMillar himself. They include alt mixes of a few tracks, and (very nicely, might I add) AI upscaled art, done by my friend Johnny.
I personally find it to add a crazy amount of depth, like never heard before! The acoustic tracks have such newfound clarity, and the metallic synth at the heart of the album has so much new space to breathe in. It may not be perceptible to everyone on first listen as it was to me, but it really feels like stepping outside from a stuffy attic.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have!

Just got an email saying I unlocked creator posts... cool!!
Very, very soon I will be announcing big stuff, but until then here's some APHG trivia!
Around the 3:27 mark in the 2008 WFMU performance of "Ghost Town", ariel says "Can you show me the way to Minnesota? I have an uncle in the Government". This is actually a callback to the song 14th of February!

I like indie music. Too much.
On this channel, you'll have a clear window into the mind of a stupid hipster, with videos about obscure music (including uploads of some of said music), under-loved media, and general philosophy on life.
Stay a while, and I hope my dumb ramblings can brighten your day!

...and my heart's wide open, truly.
