This sums up summertime flying. I had about a 5-mile gap between some moderate to heavy precip. This was on a flight from Charleston, SC, back up to Michigan. Fighting buildups for half the trek. ATC is great in these situations. Between what you see out the window, the XM feed, and their help on radar, you can pick your way through most things.

I've got a fun video in the edit, flying into BNA. Look at little Char-Char being sequenced in with all the inbounds to Nashville. Love hearing, "keep your speed 170 until JUUDD" Stay tuned

Got a few more vids in the edit phase! I just flew into Chicago Midway this past weekend, this was from the departure. To my surprise, Atlantic only charged $58 for the day... way cheaper than my last visit to Chicago Executive.

My trip to Kansas today for the commercial course got postponed. I’m still going to fly today. Looking for about an 1-1.5 hour flight from my home base of PTK, this is an example (4G7).
Where should I go? I’ll be filming, what do you want to see?
Wheels up at ~1300!
