Hey everyone, I won't have a Friday Vlog upload tomorrow due to being sick all this week. I've been taking it easy, doing a bunch of relaxing, watching movies and sleeping a bunch. I've been eating lots of soup, drinking lots of water, hot tea with lemon and honey, and taking vitamins. I also took a Covid test and it was negative (woo hoo, what a relief), I'm guessing it's just a common head cold from the symptoms I've been having. I am feeling much better today but I'm still not feeling like pushing out a video in time for Friday, the last thing I ever want to do is force content just to put out content. I'll do my best to be back to our regular Vlog upload schedule on Monday (April 8, 2024). Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

I will not have a video posted this Monday (January 8, 2024) due to a death in Pete's family. I will be taking a few personal days off to be here for Pete and his family. I will be back to regular vlog posts later in the week! Thanks so much for your support and understanding. Much love to you all and BIG hugs!!!!!

I'm doing my first ever crochet tutorial. I did my very best to teach basic chain, single crochet, and slip stitches and I show you how to crochet a simple scarf.

If you follow me on Instagram, my Mariewinton1 account has been hacked and I am trying so hard to get it all sorted and back in order. I've been having one heck of a frustrating time with Instagram's support help and I feel like I'm going round and round in circles going nowhere...ugh!!!!. The hacker has taken over my Instagram account, changed the profile pic, deleted a bunch of my stuff, and has now made the account private. Please do not interact with them if they message you. I don't know why people have to do things like this, esp. to such a small account. So far Shorty's account is fine and I was able to step up the security with a 2 step authenticator for her account and change passwords. Hopefully I'll be able to post a happy message in a couple days letting you know things are back, in the mean time please keep your fingers crossed that things get sorted.
On a happier note, tomorrow (Friday May 26, 2023) starts day 1 of the road trip vlogs as we make our way to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.

I ended up sick the past few days and haven't had the energy to put together a Vlog for my Friday upload this week. I want to focus on getting better and just rest up so I'm taking Friday and Monday off from uploading. I will hopefully be back with a video for you all on Friday, May 5th. Hope everyone is doing well and as always thank you so much for all your support, it means the world to me!!!!

Starting in 2023 I will be posting only one video a week instead of two until we get through the winter months. January and February tend to be much colder, darker, and boring months that I don't get out as often and I don't want to force content just to upload twice a week. I do have plenty of craft projects that need attention so I will be focusing on those things since they are perfect for rainy/snowy days. I will be uploading on Mondays at 8am pst and then return to the regular Monday and Friday vlogs in March.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a good weekend. My weekend plans didn't go as planned due to waking up Friday with a sore throat and ending up being sick all weekend. I took a Covid test and it was negative so it looks like it's just a standard cold/flu. I will be taking Monday off from Vlog uploading so I can focus on resting and getting better and will hopefully be back on track by the end of the week. Thanks for all your support!!
