The radio automation software experiment last night inspired me to fiddle with Udio again lol. π
I'm on vacation this week. The primary purpose of which is to clean the house and set up for more stuff on this channel. π

So yeah. I've been curious about this since getting fiber internet lol. π 500 up and this only used 3 of them because it's mostly a still image. I was poking around with PlayIt Live and used Udio to make a bunch of station IDs. This is basically a radio automation so I can set stuff to certain times and after certain durations. I started with Udio Station IDs every 15 minutes, but I could bring in stuff like some of the comedy skits I used to do like Playoutsideland lol. π
I deliberately made this less than 8 hours so I can save the replay and it'll be available as a big long AI music file that people can play on demand for background music. π

Yeah. I don't think YouTube knows what to do with AI. π Besides the kneejerk hatred for the technology on the internet, the UI has the AI flag which you're supposed to use for anything in your videos that are generated via AI, including assets. I'm just hoping the AI flag doesn't tank me in the algorithm if YouTube is worried about some of the lawsuits related to AI.
Yet I'm already finding channels generating video essays and documentaries with AI that aren't using the flag, so people are still trying to hide when assets are AI-generated.
I'm looking to use AI music as a replacement for the YTAL. The YTAL now has lots of licenses and stuff and artists are even selling music through it, so I'm looking to generate a soundtrack and have YouTube's copyright scanners see if it's too similar to something already out there lol. π

Posting this again since people clearly didn't understand what I was doing last time. After kicking the tires on AI music for most of 2024 I'm looking at using this as a theme song for tech videos to go forward instead of back. Sure Linus brought back his Monstercat song, but I think I can do better with Suno and Udio allowing you to generate your own custom soundtrack.
Let me know what you think. I've been busy this past weekend assembling furniture around the house. After all this time my setup finally has a real dedicated computer end table.π
