Central Maine Healthcare (CMH) is an integrated, non-profit, 501(c)(3) health delivery system created in 1982 serving an expansive geographic area spanning western, central and coastal Maine. CMH serves as the parent organization of Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC), Bridgton Hospital (BH), Rumford Hospital (RH), Central Maine Medical Group (CMMG), the Maine College of Health Professions and long-term care facilities, clinics, physician practices and several other subsidiaries that support the system’s mission. Collectively, they provide healthcare services, health professions training and clinical research opportunities across a vast region sometimes referred to as Maine’s “Central Tier.”
