My buddy Jason Dea West just started a YouTube channel of his own! You can already find him here and across the internet, but it sure will be nice to follow my friend on a channel of his own. 👋 Swing by and say hi if you like what you hear. He's a great musician and a kind soul.

Today I've uploaded How to Play Spoons #9, with #10 to be coming this afternoon in preparation for my upcoming online workshops at QuaranTUNE 11: Virtual Dulcimer Festival. I'll be doing workshops - Musical Spooning 101 and 102. There's a whole playlist of these how-to videos, I hope you decide to give spoon-playing a try.

Howdy! ‪@DustyWhytis‬ and I are gonna be heading circling a little around the South a bit for July, and we are proud to announce that our friend Les Blackwell is going to be opening up and playing some tunes for us, or even perhaps playing with us a bit at our show in Asheville, NC at The Grey Eagle July 10th! I figured I'd post a bit of us hanging out together playing some tunes to lift up my friend and brag about him a bit. I had meant to post this playlist earlier, but the computer brain that decides what is what on the platform thought Les Blackwell's solo song at the end of this video sounded too much like a strange Swedish pop/techno song... so it took a moment. So here it is. I also encourage you to check out his solo stuff.

As per request, here is a photo of the beautiful Folkcraft instrument that ‪@bingfutch‬ was playing in our video. It's a wonderful double-necked dulcimer that he has named "Tim". Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/_L19LzwKpzQ
