Recently, I was called out for my results being fake! and now, I'm giving away $6000. Keep reading!
Someone on Twitter bet me $6000 that my results were not real, and challenged me to join a zoom call to prove the account was legitimate. You can view the full video I did about the situation on my profile.
Long story short - Scott was honorable enough to admit he was wrong, and he sent the $6000 and made a respectable post about the situation. We agreed that transparency in the trading industry is severely lacking, so we came up with an idea...
With the $6000, I am challenging trading influencers to come forward and also showcase their trading performance. In return, deserving & real traders who can also prove their performance will receive 3 things:
1. $1000 to keep themselves for their awesome accomplishment
2. $1000 given away at random to their community
3. Recognition as a transparent and remarkable trader, and an interview (if they'd like!)
TRADERS! I am asking a favor of you. If there is a trading influencer you have dedicated a lot of time in learning from/purchasing from, I'd highly suggest asking them to consider taking my challenge.
While not being able pass this challenge doesn't necessarily make a trading influencer a fake or a fraud, influencers who CAN pass my challenge deserve massive recognition. Additionally, their community will also be rewarded with a random cash giveaway. I highly recommend you mention this post / tag the influencer you are following/learning from. You can find this post on my Twitter as well, where you can tag them!
I have posted the rules to this challenge below. In order to pass my challenge, these are the rules!
1. 2 years of profitable trading on a regulated brokerage. Unregulated brokerages can offer unfair advantages to influencers, and in worse cases can even assist in falsifying trading results / faking live accounts. Regulated brokerages are far more reputable when analyzing results. Acceptable regulatory and licensing bodies include: CFTC, NFA, DFSA, FSC, FCA, CySEC, and FSA.
2. Must be an actively traded account. No passive buy & hold stock/crypto investment accounts.
3. Performance must exceed the S&P500's passive return over the same traded period.
4. Proof of banking: deposits/withdrawals.
5. Prop firm payouts do not count as a track record, as anyone can have a good month and post a payout, then blow it the next month. Additionally, some of the more sketchy prop firms have been caught assisting influencers in falsifying / photoshopping their payouts. Nothing against prop trading in general, but payouts are 0% helpful in displaying legitimate trading skill.
6. Results cannot be shown using MT4/5. MT4/5 is an open source platform, and can easily be manipulated to show any values.
Again, nothing against Metaquotes' software - it is quite good. But - it is well known for being abused by fake traders!
7. Acceptable forms of track record are: myfxbook (regulated broker), broker statements, or clicking through a regulated brokerage's trading platform. Example: ThinkorSwim, Webull, Interactive Brokers, etc.
8. Must be willing to be recorded during the process & discuss your results for the community! None of your personal data will be shown in any of our use of this content, but will act as proof.
Reward: $1000 for the influencer, $1000 for the influencer's community (giveaway), and we will dedicate a video showcasing your legitimacy. For real traders, I hope this is the fastest $1000 you ever make!
