Welcome to my channel called "Cooking with The Nguyens", my name is Annie Nguyen (Chef Annie), and I'm the owner of The Nguyen's Vietnamese Family Restaurant in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
My family immigrated in Canada since 2004.It was challenging to connect with people at first.
Foods was one of the biggest tools for me to connect with my friends and family here. After 10 years I started my own restaurant with my Mom and my brother.
Because of Covid, I was trying to find the way to connect with everyone and i decided to create this channel because I wanted to share my Vietnamese cooking, culture and heritage to a bigger community.
The outdoor kitchen called "Annie's Kitchen" became my YouTube studio and it's a dream come true.
Telling my story and sharing stories of amazing people I meet along the way is very inspiring.
