ππππ’Today I booked 6 more FREE cruises including 1 to Alaska! π brrrrr! Well, this was SUPPOSED to be a "working cruise" where I get out all my pending content, but I slept almost all of day 1 (the train wouldn't let me be great), yesterday I got 1 video edited and loaded just for the wi-fi to act up, and today as I sit here w/ Cabo San Lucas outside of my window, I made the MISTAKE of checking my emails & found 10 offers from Royal (I could only book 5 - all balconies!) and Holland America decided to dish out 3 FREE Alaskan cruises! πππ Yay! Got an apology letter from Amtrak, took the train to Long Beach, had an awesome breakfast, and made it to Carnival Firenze ON TIME! Thanks to everyone who advised me about possible train delays. I was nervous, but those extra 16 hours paid off & I guess w/ this voucher I may be giving Amtrak another try [or should I call & ask for a refund?ππ³π π€·π½ββοΈ] I'm just happy to be BACK on a cruise ship! πππ #CruiseOn #CarnivalFirenze ***Yes, this is a Free cruise

π«π Note to self for future reference: 16 hours may not be enough wiggle room! πππ½π«£ I'm supposed to get to LAX 10pm on the 16th and be on my cruise ship by 2pm on the 17th - 16 hours to work with. I'm fine as I have things to keep me occupied, but last night around 6pm, our train stopped outside of Eugene Oregon because of a disabled freight train & we were stuck for 11 hours w/ no wi-fi, in the mountains, snow on the ground [cold but not freezing] & unable to get off to stretch (glad I don't smoke). So, my 16 hours is now only 5 hours. Let's see if I make it or if this will be the 1st cruise I have to cancel. π¬π³π€·π½ββοΈ On a separate note: I LOVE the train, the views & chatting w/ my friend, Spice (she wants to stay anonymous π), who I met on Carnival Spirit! ππ½π€ππ«Άπ½

I made it! My 1st Amtrak train ride! I'm surprised that there's WAY more motion than on a cruise ship! π€£π The views are AMAZING! I also saw the biggest strawberry EVER & these flowers that I think are gorgeous. I paid $100 for a 36-hour ride... Now I'm wondering, "Can I live on a train for $2,500/month?" ππ§ππ€£ #NextChallenge??? πππ

I am getting a lot of questions about the tracker and what it looks like. I hope you are just curious and not also being tracked. But if you are being tracked, please do not ignore it. As stated in the video, I kept pictures of EVERYTHING. I don't know the details of what kind it is or anything, but you can see the size of it in relation to my hand and when it's in the case, it's about the size of a deck of cards. The case is heavy with magnets on it so I'm guessing it was made specifically for vehicles.
