The AGEment project (Senior Adult Awareness of Active Aging: Connecting Cultural Heritage to the Empowerment of the Elderly) involves four European countries (Spain, Portugal, Romania and Italy) and the main coordinator is the Surgery Center Invasive Minimal Jesus UsĂłn (Spain) in cooperation with Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (Portugal) , the National Sports Education Center (Italy) and the GERON Foundation (Romania).
AGEment project aims to interrelate both European Cultural Heritage and Active Ageing, by
1) involving older adults in choosing the most important traditions and cultural values;
2) developing the awareness messages;
3) promoting its spreading in society.
This channel pretends to disseminate audiovisual content created in order to spread actions and case studies of the countries involved in the project, and which are inherent to the European Intangible Cultural Heritage.
