This is a really cool video about a great project discussing a TOY gun. It has 1.4 Million views. How much revenue does a video like this generate for YouTube? Too bad they have to demonitize it. The rules have changed and now "Showing or discussion of real OR FAKE guns" is no longer safe for advertisers. And yet this video about a fake gun is still being shown to everyone while my successful video about a fake gun has been shadow banned. "Age Restricted" AKA "Flagged" is a shadow ban. It destroys channels. What's most interesting to me is that I flagged the video about firing the folding boom boom thingy MYSELF as not suitable for those under 18 (according to the "community guidelines"). SEVEN DAYS LATER the YT employee flagged it also and sent me an email. Why? Anyway, I've lost faith in this platform and in Google. I genuinely feel like the platform wishes I didn't exist and doesn't want me to make videos. Despite all the signs from you all that you love my content. I've got a few Chinese companies wanting to send me products for review but they are insisting that I sign up for their affiliate programs. I have always turned down such offers. I've been jealously guarding my impartiality. Perhaps I've been foolishly thinking I was building a good reputation despite being vilified by tHe cOmMunItY. I've never done an affiliate link that paid me before. Would you guys still trust me if I did? Currently I make next to nothing for my videos. That one about the $75 printer did not even pay for the printer let alone my time. My wonderfully kind patron supporters provide most of my revenue. Should I just start promoting every decent product that comes my way?
