With my company Jayant Cichlids I run a wholesale and retail trade as well as the import and export of East African cichlids from Lake Tanganyika in Osterode am Harz.
On my 18 trips to the neighboring countries of Burundi, Zambia, DR Congo and Tanzania, I was able to get to know the lake and its inhabitants very well and make good contacts with local fishermen and exporters.
In about 30,000 liters, spread over 85 tanks, mainly cichlids but also non-cichlids such as Synodontis and Tanganicodus from Lake Tanganyika swim. They are mostly wild caught and F1 offspring. A visit to the facility is possible at any time by prior arrangement by telephone.
